In a recent article caught
my attention from the ABC New. This article shows the political campaign
members doing different things that make them look tough. In one of the “real guy” moments President
Obama’s bus tour makes a stop at a local sports bar for a quick beer and some
college football. By doing this Obama is showing how he is a regular guy and
mainly for drinking a beer. Other moments that are shown in the article Vice
President Biden traveled to Shanksville, Pa. for a memorial of the passengers
and crew of United Airlines Flight 93 this week. There Biden gave a moving
tribute to victims of the September 11 attacks and then had a "real
guy" moment by telling firefighters from Shanksville that he would have
them down to Washington. Another, “real
guy” moment was GOP Presidential Nominee Mitt Romney headed to the heart of NASCAR country,
Richmond, Va. for a campaign stop. Romney handed out a treat of hot dogs during
his pit stop at the Federated Auto Parts 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at
Richmond International Raceway. The real guy article shows how everyone who is
apart of the election are portraying a real image that can relate to other men
in America. This is a tactic that benefits both political parties because they
are showing Americans that they have what, and are tough enough to be the U.S. President.
Very good entry. That's what I had in mind. You could have done a bit more with the images, but otherwise it's fine.
